Sean grew up in northern California exploring the mountains, coasts, and deserts of the golden state. Upon graduating from college he served for three years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar ('05-'08) in the Environment sector where he developed agricultural trainings with a local farmers association promoting agro-ecotourism, trained communities on tree nursery design and clean-burning cookstoves, helped plan and create a 6.5 hectare community park, and aided in the construction of an elementary school. After finishing his service he became a Program Assistant working for Peace Corps Madagascar organizing the technical training of all Peace Corps Environment volunteers. Christina Monterroso
Five months after Cristina graduated from American University in Washington, DC in 2001, she left for Madagascar to serve as a Community Health Peace Corps Volunteer. Upon her return, she pursued her passion in the local non-profit industry, working in the youth development and homelessness sectors. After the birth of her first child in 2007, she left the 9-5pm life and is now a homeschool mama of 4, sharing the healing power of essential oils with people she meets. When she's not chasing children and chickens at home in Long Island, NY, you'll find her in her favorite place....outside.... dreaming and planning her next international trip.
